Calling All Volunteers!

If you work one day at either of Melbourne or Brisbane conferences, you can get two days for free! And, you'll get the chance to mingle with some of the best and brightest people in the Australian software industry. YOW! is an excellent networking opportunity for students just starting out. And you'll be exposed to a wide range of innovative ideas.

 

The conference lasts five days with 2 days of workshops and 3 days of seminars as well as social events. As a student volunteer, you'll provide us with approximately 12 hours of work. In return, you'll be able to participate in any of the conference sessions and social activities when you're not on duty.

 

If you help us on the workshop days, you gain access to the them as well. Here are some of the kinds of things that you'll be expected to do:

 

- enter registrations and staff registration areas

- guard staff and speaker waiting areas

- general office duties (e.g. email, fax, photocopy)

- deliver materials to conference rooms
